This is my answer to page 431 about What is your moral values?

1. Do we have a moral responsibility toward less fortunate people?

- For me, we have moral responsibilities to the less fortunate because they don’t have the capacity to do the things they want to do so we should guide them, as a Louisian we have a line “serving with a missionary’s heart” as a missionary we have a mission to serve the needed one and give them what they really need to guide them to have better life.

2. Is it wrong to divulge a secret someone who confided you?

- yes it is wrong, because he/she trusted you to sucure those secrets what if those secret is to personal or contriversial it may cost her/him a deppresion beacuse he/she dont want that secret to be shared to others.

3. Should we eat meat? Should we wear animal skin?

- For me there’s nothing wrong of eating or wearing animal’s skin because our body needs those. For the eating meat we need because meat are rich of protein which our body’s need. because vegetables don’t have high protein that’s why we should eat meat.

4. Should we try to keep people alive in any cost, no matter what physical or mental condition?

- Yes we need to keep them alive even they have mental or physical condition. Because they don’t have the capacity to survive because of that illness and even though they have issues they have still a mission to inspire other people. When I’m walking to streets I saw a blind person who are leading his son and daughters to school they depend to their father even though hi blind.

5. Is it wrong to kill someone in self-defence?

- No because. If you don’t kill the person who will kill you it has high possibilities to do it again to you or to others. But your conscience will bother you because killing a person, but it is okay you do it for the sake of yourself and others

6. Should people be given equal opportunities, regardless of race, religion, or gender?

For we should have opportunities because all of the people has the capacity to make good things to others even though their colours are different, their beliefs are different or etc. for every people as a human rights which is all people has an equal opportunities to all doings in the world

7. Is it wrong to ridicule someone even if you believe it’s in “good fun”?

- No. some people don’t show their anger to the one who tell jokes to him/her it may lead of depression and worst case suicide. Because inside of his/her heart he is harm or he/she makes it personal. They don’t make it a joke. Or even their friendship or relationship will be weak because of that kind of jokes.

8. Should you “Bend the rules” to advance your career?

- For me no. because if you bend the rules some of your co-workers will be affected maybe it can affect them negatively. And there is a right thing to do to advance your career you just need to work hard and be patient to your career.

9. Is it all right to manipulate people into doing what you want if you believe it’s for their own good?

- Yes its okay because even though you manipulate a person it is for his/her own good. and when the time come by he/she will realize those things and it he/she will be thankful to you.

10. Is there anything wrong with pornography?

- Yes it is wrong because if you always watch porn your brain will be damage in sense with, you will always find pornographic videos or pictures always and to worst case you can be a rapist because of that. Because you don’t just want to watch it you want to do it to others.

11. Should we always try to take other people’s need s into consideration when we act or should we first make sure that our own needs are taken care of?

- for me other people needs to be taken of, other people are important to us because we are connected to one another if we cosider others need first they can help us back if we need help. like General Lune said "bayan muna bago sarili" lets consider the need of other in general not just for yourself.

12. Should we experiment with animals in order to improve the quality of our lives?

- Yes because world is not kind, that’s why we should use animals for experiment for the sake survival of others for example a company has a medicine to cure aids they can use monkey to be their patient they will test it to the monkey and see if it truly works and observe the side effects of it and identify if the effects of it will be good to humans or other species.
